Good Evening Geeky World!

In April I am attending my very first con.  To commemorate this event I have decided to create a new cosplay.  Since I don't have much time to accomplish a super complicated uber realistic outfit, I have decided to keep it simple and go as Link from Legend of Zelda.  My head to toe look will consist of a tunic, hat, bracers, vambracer, leggings, boots, gloves, and other accessories.   I plan on sewing/crafting everything besides the leggings and boots.   

Sometimes it can seem intimidating to try to create something that will be viewed by other people. The main goal of this blog is to show others that crafting can be fun!  I'm sure there will be days during this project where I will be cursing the craft gods but at the end of the journey I will have a one-of-a-kind outfit and fantastic memories of the journey.  I hope to inspire people to give geeky crafts a try.

Wish me luck!  I'm headed to the craft stores (coupons in hand) to make the initial shopping trip tomorrow!
